Overview

Jade Dictionary is developed and maintained by Yonasoft. This policy covers the Jade Dictionary Android app and website (jadedictionary.com). We collect minimal data and are committed to your privacy.

Android App

The app stores all dictionary data locally on your device. No searches, word history, or vocabulary lists are sent to external servers.

Third-party services used by the app:

• Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous usage data to help improve the app. No personally identifiable information is collected.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — used to deliver practice reminder notifications if you enable them.
• Google ML Kit — handwriting recognition and OCR are processed entirely on-device and not sent to Google servers.

Website & Email Signups

If you sign up for early access to the Jade Dictionary web app, your email address is used only to notify you when the web app launches. It is processed via Resend (resend.com) and will not be shared with third parties or used for any other purpose. You can request deletion of your email at any time by contacting us.

Camera & Microphone

The app requests camera permission for OCR and microphone permission for voice search. These are used only within the app during your active session and are not recorded or transmitted anywhere.
